Al Gore caught trading a Clinton veto of tort reform for campaign cash!!!-Smoking gun evidence was uncovered proving the illegal campaign contribution to Gore and the Democrats. A DNC chair to a lawyer memo said: " Sorry you missed the Vice President: I know [you] will give $100K when the President vetoes tort reform, but we really need it now. Please send ASAP if possible..."
George Bush accepts debates and Al Gore backs away from his debate proposals!!- Gore said he will debate Bush anytime anywhere but after Bush says he agrees and wants to debate Gore, in what can be the first gaffe in the campaign, Gore says no! While on the Russert NBC show and the Larry King show, Gore said he will debate Bush right there and made a point that he accepts debates on Russert and King shows. Bush accepted debates on the two shows that Gore proposed, but now Gore has backed out and has showed that his word can't be trusted. Gore already has a problem with a lack of credibility and by backing out of debates he loses more credibility.
Clinton says no, for now, to a defense for America against Nuclear attack-Clinton said for security reasons and not knowing if an anti-missile system would work, he will leave it to the next president to decide if America will have a nuclear missile defense. George W. Bush said he would build a missile defense system to protect against nuclear attack and would support a more intensive system then the limited one Clinton looked at. In a coinciding decision, the US put our anti-missile Patriot system on high alert to deploy in Israel at a moments notice if needed. These Patriot anti-missile defense systems were used with great success during the Persian Gulf war in 1990. The missile system intercepted enemy missiles in the air and revealed this previous secret defense system. Clinton, Gore and liberals have consistently opposed defending the US and allies from nuclear attack. They have also mocked successes like the Patriot system in their attacks on the anti-missile defense. Reagan first proposed an anti-nuclear defense and the liberals mocked it, calling it "star wars" as a derisive term. The reasoning for the liberal's opposition to a nuclear missile defense for America is based on their little support for a strong American defense and they want America to be vulnerable to nuclear attack believing it is more secure if American enemies could pose a threat to America and our allies.
Cancer vaccine may be possible but Gore threatens it!!-New research reported in Nature Medicine medical journal showed the near future possibility. This comes at time when presidential Democrat nominee Al Gore is threatening life saving drug company's and threatening the future research these company's do finding cures to diseases and illnesses. The threats by the Democrat party and Al Gore cause the loss of millions of research investment dollars as investors and the drug company's themselves fear regulation and the loss of a return on their investments. Drug research is a high risk venture and the added risk caused by politicians like Al Gore and other Democrats result in less medicine and the continued suffering and dying by the ill and those struck with diseases.
Al Gore tells George W. Bush to put up or shut-up! In what may be the realization by Gore of his slipping in the polls, Gore turned nasty and told Bush to explain his proposals or shut-up. Gore wanted to make it appear that Bush wasn't explaining his policies made the nasty remark to be dramatic but it made Gore look non-presidential.
Al Gore remains silent on immigration scandal -David Schippers the Democrat that was the top council on the House Judiciary Committee during the Clinton impeachment trial revealed the scandal information pointing to corruption by Al Gore. Gore pressured the INS to grant citizenship to aliens without checking their criminal history in order to get as many expected Democrat voters as possible before the 1998 election. Schippers says there where 60,000 felons who have gotten citizenship and that 20% had committed violent crimes against Americans since. Schippers told CNS News that he was not talking about just theft but said,"I'm talking rape, murder, home invasion, stuff like that." This would mean that about 60,000 violent criminals are on American streets that should never have been and that 12,000 have committed violent crimes. The Gore scheme to increase the number of Democrats for the 1998 election directly resulted in the rape, murder, attacks and burglary against average Americans.
Democrats against free speech -Little noticed is a clause in the Democrats party platform that states the Democrats call to regulate speech on talk radio and therefore all over the air broadcasts. They use the politically correct term "fairness doctrine" to hide their true intentions. This "doctrine" calls for radio stations to be forced to put on the air views they don't agree with or views the listening public isn't interested in listening to. Many would call this fascist. Free speech is saying what you want to say and not what others or government are forcing you to say.
George Bush leads in latest poll-Bush leads in the most respected Rasmussen poll 43.6 to 41.2 for Gore in a three day average. Other polls that poll less people have the election about even or Gore with a small lead. The election is decided by electorial votes state by state and Bush continues to have a lead. New polling of states is being done and that will determine where the campaigns will spend their campaign ad money.
Reno as expected didn't name an independent council to investigate Gore-Justice Department officials recommended a council because Gore took campaign money from Monks which was an illegal campaign contribution. This leaves it up to the voters to decide if corrupt government is the new way in America or will the voters restore honest government.
The Clinton/Gore administration has been the most corrupt administration in history but promised the most ethical one.
Trouble in the Gore campaign- Gore's campaign manager Brazile called George W. Bush a "white cracker". The Drudge Report reported the racist remarks first. This was not the first racist remarks by Gore's campaign manager. An earlier story had Brazile saying that blacks in the Republican party don't want to feed blacks but only take pictures with them. It is not known if Gore will fire Brazile who was once fired by the Dukakus presidential campaign. Also, Gore's son was arrested for speeding 100 miles per hour. The liberal media knew this story but hid it from the public to help the Democrats convention and the Gore campaign. The arrest was before the convention but was reported a week later after Gore's convention speech.
Independent Council Ray opened a Grand Jury to determine a possible indictment of Clinton after he leaves office. Ray said weeks back that it was an open investigation and the new news was not so surprising or of news worthiness but the new revelation of the Grand Jury had Democrats falsely accusing Republicans of bring it up during the Democrats convention and Gore's speech. The information was made public by a Democrat Judge. The liberal media helped the Democrats with their spin and false allegations. Liberal, Dan Rather of CBS, suggested that it was Republican Judges. The Carter appointed Judge admitted it, to his credit, but the liberal media and Democrats have not apologized and few expect them to.
Gore makes his speech but trails in polls. Gore got an unusual small bounce in his poll numbers and continues to trail by 5% in the well respected voter.com, battleground poll. In the last 6 presidential elections the Democrat nominee had the lead during the Democrats convention. The smallest lead was 2% in 1984 and the Democrat Mondale lost big to Reagan. Now Gore finds himself trailing or at best even, however, in a few days the small bounce will fade and Bush will lead by as much as 5-10% by early September. The Gore speech was delivered in a rambling tone and filled with government programs that the left in the Democrats party would support. Gore clearly wanted to sure up his base that he was unable to do before the convention and shows the weakness of his campaign.
